The Prophet & The Teacher

Dedicated to ALL of God's Prophets and Teachers - You know who you are.

I am the Prophet
and you are the Teacher.
In this ministry
that features
The greatest man who ever lived
and died
And rose,
Which sets him apart
From those
who claim to be
God in the flesh.
They try their best,
but to no avail
Because the true prophets
all hail
King Jesus.
So, Teacher, teach me
The mysteries of the gospel
So I can stand up
to the hostile
Who idolize and despise
the one true God.
God shows me so much,
And as such
I am obliged
to evangelize
because his word
must go forth.
But, teacher
I need you
To verify the truth.
To confirm what
you have heard
With the Word,
So it all lines up
In decency and order,
In spirit and truth,
So, blessings can be loosed.
And those who have an ear
to hear
Will hear
And grow near
To Jesus,
And praise
His Holy name.

That was beautiful. I'm curious as to what was your motivation for writing it?
